"Charlie Chaplin" by Otto L. Grever
Above is an image of a lithograph called "Charlie Chaplin" by Otto L. Grever. This weeks piece is a great example of emphasis. The artist used a principle called contrast by isolation to create emphasis on the protagonist of the piece. The lack of anything else in the background really makes the focus solely on Charlie Chapin.
